I have a question about the considerations that should be made when looking for a mental health practitioner for some with Parkinson's Disease or Parkinsonism.
Of the various types of practitioners (Psychiatrist, psychologist, cognitive behavioral therapist, hypnotherapist ...) are there certain disciplines that are better suited to dealing with Parkinson's?
I'm sure each case is different, but if you could provide any general advice on the pros and cons of different approaches or what generally to look for in a psychiatrist it would be very helpful. I can provide more details about my situation if needed, but thought a general question may be more widely valuable.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
